Monitoring and Compliance Branch has updated some of the printable forms.

On February 8, 2024, the Monitoring and Compliance Branch (MAC) issued a memo regarding the updated form for the Resolution Meeting Summary and Agreement. On February 15, 2024, the Monitoring and Compliance Branch (MAC) issued a memo regarding filing a Special Education State Written Complaint and an ImpartialDue Process Hearing.All the forms were updated to highlight the required elements and provide them in an efficient and user-friendly format. Copies of these forms and additional information are also available on the Department’s Dispute Resolution Website.

Supplemental Docs has been modified.

Transportation 2024-25 School year for ST-11 is now available to input Non-School Days Transportation available in the ESY documentation Transportation Tab now has the ability to document Non-School Day for a single day need for transportation To Document the user need to do the following Student Profile under a student Select Pg 2: Transportation Tab Select appropriate school year

NEW Phone Number for Medicaid Reimbursement Section (MRS)

The HIDOE Office of Student Support Services Medicaid Reimbursement Section’s (MRS) phone number has been changed effective 2/8/2024. Please update the following MRS main telephone contact information.New phone: 808-305-9860This is the primary number used by: Direct Services (Medicaid Parental Consent Forms) Random Moment Time Study (RMTS) Other general HIDOE Medicaid inquiries MRS fax number, main email addresses, and staff email addresses have not been impacted by this change.

Child Count 2023 has ended!

Child Count 2023 Verification Thank you for your hard work in ensuring timely and accurate documentation for students receiving special education and related services. The Child Count Verification process has started. The “Child Count Verification – Frozen 1 As Of 12/1/2023” Report is posted. The Child Count Verification App is currently open and will remain open until Friday, December 8. Complex Area Superintendents (CASs) and Principals please review and verify the data in the eCSSS report:

Tomorrow (Friday, 12/1/2023) is the last day to update records for the 2023 Child Count. The official Special Education Child Count data on the electronic Comprehensive Student Support System (eCSSS) will be frozen tomorrow, December 1, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. Please see the August 1, 2023 Child Count memo for more information. Child Count date is Friday, December 1, 2023 and it’s fast approaching. As you review the eCSSS Child Count Verification – Daily Report, please ensure timely and accurate documentation for students receiving special education and related services. Section 504 Documentation requirements have been updated.
