Child Count 2024 Verification Process

Thank you for your hard work in ensuring timely and accurate documentation for students receiving special education and related services. The Child Count Verification process has started.  The “Child Count Verification – Frozen 1 As Of 12/1/2024” Report is posted.     The Child Count Verification App is currently open and will remain open for users to review and verify data until Friday, December 6. Friday, November 29, 2024, is the final day to input for the 12/1/2024 Child Count Freeze. Testing Accommodations Changes for SY 24-25

eCSSS has been updated to reflect the following changes for Testing Accommodations  Word Prediction has been Inactivated and replaced by Word Completion.  Word Completion has been added for both embedded and non-embedded.   Speech-to-Text is now available for both embedded and non-embedded.  Math Manipulatives has been inactivated as an Accommodation only available for IEPs and Section 504s due to the fact that it is now a Non-Embedded Designated Support.

ServiceNow Request have Changes that affect Infinite Campus-Program Modules

As of 9/27/2024, the following changes have been made in ServiceNow Requests.  The For User Managers: Infinite Campus and Program Modules document has also been updated. Key Features that are affected.  Add Role field:   No changes can be made of the select access roles once the request has been submitted. Child Count 2024 – Update LRE for Kindergarten Students Whose IEPs were Developed During Preschool

On Tuesday, October 1, 2024, Preschool-developed IEPs for SY 24-25 Kindergarteners will be updated to reflect the current grade level that the student is at (Kindergarten).   ONLY the IEPs that were developed when the student was in Preschool will be updated so that the Grade level will go from Gr 92 to Gr 91 which will align with current Infinite Campus student information.  Once the Grade level has been updated on the IEP, the SCHOOL

Special Education Child Count 2024

Child Count date is Sunday, December 1, 2024. The official Child Count Report on the electronic Comprehensive Student Support System (eCSSS) will be frozen at 6:00 pm. on Friday, November 29, 2024 (the last weekday before December 1). The Monitoring and Compliance Branch is reaching out to all of you to review your Child Count Verification – Daily Report to ensure timely and accurate documentation for each student who is receiving special education and related services.

Standardized Assessments in eCSSS

Assessment data such as SBA, ACT, EOC scores are no longer being uploaded into eCSSS. Please use other systems such as LEI Kulia, Infinite Campus and TIDE to find the information. If you have appropriate access, you can login to these systems via MyApps (https://myapps.microsoft.com/) Mahalo!

SY 2023-24 Supports* will auto-close on Friday, 7/19, after 4pm. Users can begin inputting SY 2024-25 supports* beginning Monday, 7/22.

*Supports include Interventions/Goals, School Program, Title 1 Program, PSAP, Walk-in School/College counseling. “Regular” SY supports (i.e. Start Date prior to 6/1/2024) will have an End Date of 5/31/2024.“Summer” supports (i.e. Start Date between 6/1 and 7/19/2024) will have an End Date of 7/19/2024. Users can begin inputting supports* for SY 2024-25 beginning Monday, 7/22/2024. SY 24-25 supports that were erroneously input before 7/22/2024 will be auto-closed.
