Addendum Progress Report Adding an additional term after 4

In the cases where all 4 Progress Reports were completed and an additional 5th Progress Report is necessary, an “Addendum Progress Report” has been created. This new adjustment in eCSSS will allow us to keep all documentation on the past “Progress Reports” while giving us the flexibility to include the new information in an addendum. Documenting Section 504 Delay Reasons for the Referral, Assessments, Eligibility and Section 504 Plan is now available within eCSSS

To document a delay within the Section 504 process, please follow the same process listed within the “Documenting Delays in eCSSS Due to COVID-19 Guidance Final” document.  If after exhausting multiple efforts to meet timelines, teams are unable to convene because of COVID-19, the SFT team must clearly document in eCSSS: Any delays impacted by COVID-19; The reasons for the delay(s); and Agreement(s) with parent(s)/guardian(s) in the Prior Written Notice (PWN).

Changes in Reporting Least Restrictive Environment for Children Who Are Five (5) Years Old

The Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) has changed the requirement for reporting the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) continuum for the 5-year-olds in Kindergarten. In order to report data accurately, the electronic Comprehensive Student Support System (eCSSS) has been updated to align with OSEP’s new reporting requirement. Supplemental Documents can now be Uploaded to eCSSS

We are now able to upload the following documents: BIP, BSP and the Nursing service documents – PHN Reports, SH-38 and more. How to upload documents 1.
